Hello,

I am a user of ROSA and have a bug to report with a supported package however http://bugs.rosalinux.ru doesn't seem to be emailing out a confirmation link. Neither does this site for that matter.

Any feedback would be highly appreciated.

Thank you.

Delayed email received for validation for bugs.rosalinux.ru site however still haven't received one for this site yet.

Hi, I've used the urpm tools for over 13 years. I'd say 'cnf' looks like a very good extension to these tools. Thanks! Rolf

Can anyone please explain exact steps for Linux kernel ABI tracker?

I want to compare/check the ABI/API interfaces of RHEL6.5 and RHEL6.6 kernel.

Very nice :) Is it possible to add persistent storage? Thanks.

Not yet; currently we are working on persistent storage support and hopefully ROSA Image Writer will get such possibility soon. But then we will have to combine this technology with multiboot flash.

awesome I got fresh on 32/64 bit on the same flash-drive, I'll test if works with LTS Thank you

This looks (potentially ;) like a fine enhancement to the already powerful extension to RPM*, urpmi*, thanks.

For later run , can somebody please check that Rosa releases will be proper announced on all Rosa mailing lists I do think that advertising is a very important part of Rosa's products . Thank you.

For update existing systems on 64-bit R3, following the steps, at the first urpmi.addmedia command, 32-bit repos are added:

  1. urpmi.addmedia --distrib http://mirror.rosalab.ru/rosa/rosa2014.1/repository/x86_64/

adding medium "main" adding medium "main updates" adding medium "main testing" (ignored by default) adding medium "Main32" adding medium "Main32 Updates" adding medium "main32 testing" (ignored by default) adding medium "contrib" adding medium "contrib updates" adding medium "non-free" adding medium "non-free updates" adding medium "Non-free32" adding medium "Non-free32 Updates" adding medium "restricted" adding medium "restricted updates" adding medium "Restricted32" adding medium "Restricted32 Updates" ..

That would seem to make the subsequent steps:

  1. urpmi.addmedia main32_release http://mirror.rosalab.ru/rosa/rosa2014.1/repository/i586/main/release
  2. urpmi.addmedia main32_updates http://mirror.rosalab.ru/rosa/rosa2014.1/repository/i586/main/updates

unnecessary?

I get no confirmation mail for the wiki. (same with the forum before)

Here is a little issue:

Users who already work in ROSA Desktop Fresh R4 are able to update their systems to ROSA Desktop Fresh R2 from official repositories.

R2 is wrong, of course and R5 is true instead.

Thanks in advance

[Optimizing_Fresh_R7_for_machines_with_limited_hardware_resources optimization advises] is no link, while it seems, that it want one to be :P

No Torrent links here, why ?

How do install the upwork app on Rosa?
